Mr. Stanley Betterson is a member of the Supervisory Board since December 2023. Mr. Betterson studied law at Anton de Kom University. Since 2005 he has held various positions within the government. He was Deputy Director of Tourism at the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Tourism and subsequently Director of Civil Aviation (DCA) at the Aviation Department. At the Ministry of Regional Development, he was a decentralization policy officer and subsequently a minister in the department. Until December 2023 he served as director of the Foundation for Forest Management and Forest Supervision.

Mr. Betterson is a lecturer in administrative law at Anton de Kom University since 2008.

He also holds supervisory positions at the Maritime Authority Suriname (MAS) and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority Suriname (CASAS).
