VOS Scholengemeenschap Tamanredjo, located in Commewijne, is the only VOS school in the area, serving nearly 900 students since its establishment in 2011. Over the years, the school faced significant challenges due to financial constraints that limited its ability to maintain and upgrade its facilities.

The septic tank at the school had suffered from severe issues, including leaks and structural damage, which posed serious hygiene and health risks. Additionally, the roof of the ICT building wing, critical for housing computer and simulation rooms, had deteriorated, leading to water damage and disruption of ICT lessons.

Staatsolie has successfully completed the renovation project, addressing these critical issues. The septic tank has been repaired, and the roof of the ICT building wing has been fixed, restoring the school's ability to provide a safe, hygienic, and functional learning environment for its students.
